Things to do in Isabela! Tunel de Guajataca

My fashion:

Bag: Thrift Store

Looking for some interesting spot but also want to be close to nature? I have a perfect spot for you! Tunel de Guajataca. A beautiful historical place right on the beach!

The tunnel was constructed in the first years of the 20th century, as the American Railroad Company, and it  was part of a larger construction that would eventually connect San Juan in the north to Ponce in the south. Trains carrying both passengers and sugarcane travelled through it for nearly a century. It seems that the tunnel is on the boarder of Isabela and Quebradillas. Both towns want to claim it.

Recently, volunteers and artists made this place look even better and so much fun. Beautiful murals and instalations made this place even more worth visiting. It’s a must see place while in Isabela/Quebradillas or on the way to the West Coast.

As for fashion,I needed something fun and comfortable and  i let the background be the main focus and my dress just an addition!

The tunnel opens onto a spectacular beach! I will take you there one day!
