Gozalandia! Waterfall Magic!

There are many beautiful and interesting places in Puerto Rico but if I had to choose my favorite will be the waterfalls.  There are many little ones here and some incredible spectacular ones. One of them is Gozalandia.

This is not my first time there, I visited it when it was just a wild waterfall, and to get there, we had to trespass private property. Now they have been many improvements. It is a fully organized and accessible tourist attraction. Not sure if great for nature but definitely much easier for the tourists. Now there is a pathway and stars to take you all the way down. Easy breezy!

Waterfalls (cascadas or saltos, in Spanish) are one of those natural beauties that will always be breathtaking. Gozalandia or Las Cataratas or El Roble Waterfall in San Sebastian is sometimes called the secret waterfall even though it is actually becoming more and more popular.

Gozalandia is located in San Sebastian and the waterfall is pretty tall (about 50 feet), it also pretty wide (about 20-30 feet). There was a pool at the bottom of the falls that people swim in that is deep and clean, you can see a lot of fish swimming there. This beauty has even been in a few movies (most recently “A Perfect Getaway”)!

The pool is deep enough that, some people jump off of the rocks into the water.  Locals will show off their bravery and skills. Pretty cool and scary at the same time!

There is a space for swimming and hanging out in front of the pool and also many hiking paths! The views are amazing and the time there truly magical!

Since the waterfall is more accessible now, not an extreme hike or climb any more, anyone can enjoy it!
I had a blast!

Całkiem fajne i jednocześnie przerażające!
